Hi My Name Is Abney.

And I have no fricken will power! So I've been doing the Weight Watchers thing for almost a week now and have done pretty crappy. But this morning takes the cake....or shall I say donut?
Donut?
Yep. Donut.
That little round fried piece of dough covered in sugar made from the devil himself to add an extra jelly roll to the ones who have more jelly rolls than the bakery itself. Me.

And for those who don't do the Weight Watchers thing. One donut is 7 points. You're probably thinking....7 points....that doesn't seem so bad. Well you're wrong buddy! If you someone who only gets 20-30 some odd points a day YOU JUST ATE HALF YOUR FRICKEN POINTS!

I'm not beating myself up over eating a donut. But what keeps running through my head is.....Was it really worth it?

Yeah. It was.

I warmed it up in the microwave and enjoyed every single yummy bite.

People being on a diet shouldn't be about what you can't have. It should be about what you can have...in moderation.

I've done this Weight Watchers thing before and I loved it. I joined Weight Watchers not because I gained weight. I joined WW again because I didn't feel good about what I was eating. It was getting out of control and I knew the only thing that would help would be WW.

Yes it does take time to figure out what you can eat and how much of something you should be eating. It takes time to get your mind to catch up with you stomach on how much you actually have on your plate. Cause before you were eating TOO much of something and now that your eating the right amount you feel like your starving yourself! You're not!!!!

So what I'm saying...eat a donut! But only one! You don't want to have to invest in a wide load sign.

Love you. Have a beautiful Sunday!

Truly Yours,
Abney

Friday Letters

Photobucket

Dear Fifty Shades Trilogy, I never want you to end. Even though I'm only on the second book and about 5 chapters in I know I will read you like a mad woman this weekend to see what happens next.

Dear Bachelors Program, I haven't even been accepted into you and you've already gotten me stress!

Dear Job Interviewer, Thank you for interview. I didn't really like it when you told me you couldn't hire me because you didn't think I'd be up and have a ride at 5 am because I don't have a car. That isn't the case, I've always had a  ride to work. =(

Dear Sister, I love you. But you drive me Coo Coo Ca Choo! (yes it's a real phrase....ask The Beatles.) I made you a lovely sandwich, a bag of Doritos, and place Cosmic Brownie in your lunch box and took it to you in the MIDDLE of the day for your lunch and you yell at me cause you didn't want to go get if from the office between classes!!!!

P.S. She sent me a sorry text after I made her feel horrible because I pointed out all the wonderful things I do for that girl. =)

Dear Minute Maid Lemonade, I'm glad you came out with Lemonade that only has 15 calories and 0 WW Points. This made me a very happy girl.

Dear Dentist, Your office staff made my teeth nice and clean yesterday with my 6 month cleaning. However, I do not like it when you tell me I may have to have a root canal done if my tooth doesn't get it's act together on top of all that other work that needs to be done on my teeth.

Yours Truly,
Abney

Fifty Shades of Weight Watchers

Hello Lovely Ones!

How was your weekend? I spent my weekend and part of my Monday doing this...

Let me start off with Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. I had this little gem tucked away on my bookshelf for OVER a week trying to decide when would be the perfect time to start the addiction! So late Friday night I was sitting around wondering if I should continue reading Clockwork Angels or should I pick up something I knew I would LOVE. So I did the obvious....I opened up that can of erotica. Let me tell ya....I've read some books, but this one is one takes the cake! I am NOT done with the whole book because...well because I don't want it to end before the other 2 Fifty Shades books are delivered. =) I will be more than happy to share my opinion once I am finished.

As for Weight Watchers...I signed up...again.
I feel that WW is a great tool for those who want to lose weight or maintain their weight. Now I've done WW before, but not with the new Points Plus. Last time I lost over 30 lbs with WW. I'm hoping to have the same results. And to let you all in on a little bit about myself....I've lost over a 115 lbs people! This girl was a BIG girl at one time. Now don't get me wrong, this girl still has some junk in her trunk....just a little less baggage. I will have to show you all some before and afters pretty soon. Don't let me forget!

Do you all mind me asking you all questions? Cause let me tell ya....you all can ask me anything and I will be happy to respond.

Have you all read all 3 of the Fifty Shades books?

Have you tried the new Points Plus with WW? If so, did you keep it up?

Any snack ideas??? Cause I'm a snacker!!!!

Yours Truly,
Abney
