I have some kind of sickie-ickie-ness and Jen is not happy about it. Usually I can find some random OTC stuff and I'm done with it.
For some reason this time...IT'S NOT GOING AWAY!
It all started Sunday....I just figured it was allergies and it would go away the next day. Noooooooo. Whatever this is decided to kick my butt! So Monday I go to town and buy some "Liquid Death". This is known as Mucinex Liquid Cold & Sinus. I started to feel much better after 2 doses. I think it was a combo of the meds I normally take and Liquid Death.
You might ask why I call this stuff Liquid Death...because it's fricken tastes horrible, it burns when it goes down, the after taste lasts forever and attaches itself to your lips.
The Tuesday morning, I still feel like dirt. So I take a few more doses of Liquid Death and hope I get some homework in between a foggy head and a faucet for a nose without messing up on my assignments.
By Wednesday I was on a near nervous break down!!!!
I wasn't feeling better, my auntie flow came for a visit, and my sister's dumb cat was driving me crazy!!!! The little you-know-what kept on jumping all over my bed and for some reason I went all home dude in The Shinning!
I don't know if it was the meds or the PMS cray cray but I ended up in the floor, half way under the bed with a spray bottle chasing after this dumb cat!!!
I was trying to get her out from underneath my bed to remove her from my room so I started pulling crap from underneath my bed out calling out, "Here Kitty Kitty!!!". She came close enough for me to reach her and I ended up RAMMING my head into a medal piece on my bed. I mean I seen the little cartoon birdies and stars. I betcha that cat was thinking, "Now who's the dummy?". By then I just started screaming get out!!! I was pretty scary!
Now on to today....I wake up and I still have whatever this is...cold, sinus, allergy thingy. So I get up, take some liquid death and went to town and bought Claritin and Odwalla C Monster. Hope I will kick this whatever in the ass. If I don't, I'll probably OD on Liquid Death.
If I do. I will my Spice Girls CD collection to my BFF,Keisha.

2 Week Review
Eeeek! I'm sorry for not posting for 2 weeks! Am I a bad blogger or what?
I've been busy! Who would have thought becoming a teacher took so much? I didn't think it would involve so of my free time. So....let's re-cap my past 2 weeks....
On the 17th I got called to come in and sub my very first day!!! 5th grade. It was only a half day...but it was still fun. Highlights....
* My tape stealer - I had this little guy walking around the room taking the tape and making some kind of pencil, paper, tape thingy. Well we have mics we speak into so everyone in the class can hear us. I noticed him stealing the tape after I told him a millions times not to. I walked up right behind him and spoke really loudly into the mic and it scared the crap out of him. He jumped a good 10 ft!
* I took my first note that was passed between a boy and a girl and threated to read it. The whole class wanted me to read it, but I knew the girl was dying of embarrassment by me even taking the note. -It was a, I like you, do you like me? Yes or No. He chose yes. =)
I started class last Monday....
I've only been out of school for like 6 months and I feel like I don't know how to function! I do online courses and I'm completely lost on how to keep up with reading, notes, homework, projects, and quizzes! And it's only the first week!!! I do have a planner, but the note taking is making everything take so long to finish. Any suggestions on how to cut down on the note taking????
Wednesday was my little sister's 15th birthday!!!! That made me feel so old. I love her so much. She's like my kid. I would buy or do anything for her.
Then Thursday I went to 2 states in 1 day. I live in Kentucky. Me and my step-mom went to TN to eat lunch in the Cumberland Gap. I know...lunch in another state? That's how we roll. Then after lunch we went to a Amish store in VA. Let me tell you....I got the most AMAZING Peanut Butter and Pumkin Butter. I'm gonna get so FAT!!!! It's heaven.
Then all of the other days in between have been filled with either grocery shopping, homework, or Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I love them so! Don't even start with me on the Kardashians. I'm sorry...but I would have no problem getting my own reality show then blowing up and make millions!!!
I'm such a blast!
Hopefully next week I will keep you all better entertained. ;)

Kale + Praxis = No Thank You.
Good Sunday Afternoon People!!!
I hope everyone has had a relaxing weekend.
I spent my Saturday in a classroom from 10-3 listening to people talk. I had school orientation and then I had a teacher's orientation for teaching program. Let's just say...by the time I got out of there I was ready to run as far away from the teaching program as possible. I had no idea what goes into being a teacher! The school that I'm going to expects a lot from their students which is pretty great because like my bff told me, "good, you need a challenge."
As far as my Sunday is going....
I had to wake up and run to the salon because the chick who cut my hair Friday night left like 3 inches on the left side untouched! My hair is super curly, so I didn't really notice it until it was fully dry that night. I couldn't get it fixed Saturday due to orientation.
Then I came home and done this...
Yeah....I have like a month and a half to study and pass. Cause if I don't pass by November....I don't get to continue with the teaching program.
Then I tried to find a love for the treadmill for like an hour. I find the treadmill boring. Thank goodness for Destiny's Child on Pandora. I tried to be cute and dance while walking. I about ate the floor.
Then I made these...
Kale Chips!
Anyone ever had these things???
I washed and dried the Kale. Cut the leaves off the stem. Put them flat on a cookie/baking sheet. Poured EVOO all over it. Then added Lemon Pepper all over. I didn't have Sea Salt. Then baked at 300 for 15-25 minutes. Make sure they are crispy and not mushy. Then you know they are done!
Ok....I've never had them before. I'm always excited to try something healthy and new.
My thoughts....
EWWWWW......haha!!! I won't be eating those things anymore. Maybe I didn't make them right. Or maybe I just don't like them. Whatever.

This Was Me..
Hi Ladies! See that girl? The one on the left? Well....that is me at 348 pounds.
This picture was taken on Thanksgiving 2009 with my best friend. Ain't she gorgeous?
See that girl right there? That's me too! But at 227.
Can you believe that was me?
Yep...that was how I spent the first 23 years of my life!!!
Over weight, eating everything I could get my hands on, fast food galore, and being even more lazier than I am now. (I'm still all of this, but I eat a lot less and more healthier.)
You might be thinking 227 is still over weight Jen! I know this. But look how far I have come!
All the things I can do now...
I don't almost die every time I do something that might cause me to break a sweat. i.e. Breathe, walk, or climb stairs. Seriously, I use to breathe sooo hard trying to walk up a flight of stairs.
I can wear cute clothes! Now I may not be able to walk into any store and just try anything on. I still have to find certain stores that carry my sizes. But I get to have more options!!!!
I get looked at by the boys more. I know some guys like big girls, believe me, I've dated some in my fat days. But now I actually have some cute guys my age with all of their teeth looking at me!
I can go out and eat in public and feel like no one is starring at me. I felt like every time I would go out to eat everyone was looking me down because I was a big girl scarfing down that cheeseburger. Now I'm a little girl still scarfing down that cheeseburger but with a salad. ;)
When people who haven't seen me in a long time actually see me...they are shocked! And I LOVE it! They are used to seeing me 300+ pounds! Not being able to wrap their arms around me when they hug me. Now they can wrap their arms around me and actually give me that hug I deserve!
I can wear heels. Seriously big girls....I don't know how you do it. I know heels hurt when you wear them...but try putting 300+ pounds on a little bitty stick and try to walk around. I felt like I would fall flat on my butt....sure I had enough cushion to save me. But no....it wasn't happening. Now....I can rock them! But I really don't all that much....I choose comfort.
One of these days I will have to tell you how I did it. It isn't rocket science or some special kind of pill either.
I'm truly proud of myself. And if you have lost any weight and kept if off, I'm proud of you too!!! It's hard work!

Sometimes & Always...

Sometimes: I tell myself I'm not gonna text a certain boy.
Always: Do.
Sometimes: Go into Rite-Aid telling myself....do not buy nail polish.
Always: Buy atleast 2.
Sometimes: I check out more books from the library that I can read in a two week time period.
Always: Go back a few weeks later to get it again to finish reading.
Sometimes: I tell myself I need to lay off the junk food.
Always: Eat junk all day, everyday!
Go link up with Megan right now!!!

It's Ok Thursday Birthday Edition
To wear a tiara all day long.
To jump for joy when you open a Snooki birthday card from your 14 year old sister.
To say, "It's ok because it's my birthday" when you screw something up like parking or backing up.
To blast Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" more than once and dance along, screw who's watching.
To tell your BFF guy friend you're gonna kick in the balls if he didn't remember what today was.
To love EVER SINGLE Facebook Happy Birthday wall post.
To reply with a sweet thank you and then keep a mental note that they are no longer on your shit list for not saying Happy Birthday.
